Where did the week go?

It is Sunday again, and I don’t know where the week went to. Over the last week I did something but not too much. I did 2 miles on the treadmill, and ended up having pain but this time in the right foot. Not good:((( I did Jillian Michaels workout – once or twice, not sure. Interestingly enough, it still makes me feel very very good. 20 min only – and I am brand new person. Love it!

Today I hit the gym and did 5 min of elliptical and ran 3.1 miles on the treadmill. Nice feeling in the muscles and no pain!

And yes, yesterday I picked up my bib and race shirt for the Turkey Trot. So excited!

Treadmill, I love you

This Sunday I decided not to be lazy and hit the treadmill. Did 3.1 miles – and guess what, no pain! Great!

Gym, gym, gym

Weird but I feel I enjoy gym more than track. Weird because I love being outdoors. Gym helps me stay more focused. Another thing I enjoy about the gym is that Dave works out by my side – he is not a runner.

Today I did weightlifting (25 x each), 10 min of elliptical and 10 min on treadmill.

Weights, elliptical and treadmill

Today was my trio workout: lifting weights (25 x each), elliptical (7 min) and treadmill (1 mile). I haven’t done elliptical in years, and gosh it was not as easy as it sounds. You have to maintain certain speed, and it is quite challenging. Got tired very fast. OK, I will hit it again next time. You watch:)

Treadmill victory

After my epic fail yesterday, I wanted to make up for it in the gym. I lifted weights (25 x each), and got on the treadmill and did 3 miles. I was soooo sweaty, much more than after an outdoors run. Interestingly enough, the treadmill doesn’t give you much of speed options. The maximum is slower than me. To do 3 miles took me app. 40 min.
